      Eastern Wire Mfg. Inc. is the leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of construction products in the Philippines. Established in 1987 in the City of Valenzuela, Eastern Wire produces a complete range of steel wire products under its Green Archer brand, including gabions and mattresses, welded wire mesh, reinforced concrete mesh, chicken wire, cyclone wire, hog wire, barbed wire, crimped wire, G.I. wire and much more, in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit builders' needs.

     Over the years, Eastern Wire has expanded beyond producing wires in its bid to become the ultimate one-stop shop for the Philippine construction industry. In 1995, in response to market demand for lightweight concrete panels as a substitute for concrete hollow blocks, Eastern Wire started locally manufacturing EVG-3D Construction Panels using state-of-the-art, fully automatic European machining technology. The 3D system, which Eastern Wire exclusively licenses from EVG Austria in the country, represents a novel, cost-saving and versatile construction method used in more than 55 countries, and has been used in the Philippines by leading residential, commercial and industrial developers, including SM and Robinsons malls, the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu, the United Architects of the Philippines National Headquarters, and many more.

     Gabions and mattresses were introduced in 2000 to provide a much-requested solution for erosion control. Eastern Wire has become the top supplier of gabions in the Philippines, being the preferred supplier of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and National Irrigation Administration (NIA) among others, and has been praised for delivering cost-effective value to major civil works projects nationwide. . As a result, Eastern Wire is now also supplying an entire range of geosynthetic materials, including geotextiles, geogrids, geomembranes and coco coir, to cater to large-scale civil works projects.

     In 2009, Eastern Wire again expanded, this time into home and industry insulation materials with XPS extruded polystyrene rigid insulation boards as its flagship product. It counts the Canon manufacturing plant in Manila as one of its major projects, whose approximately 4,000 square meters of roof area is covered with XPS in order to protect the factory’s highly sensitive equipment.

     Eastern Wire has also been pioneering innovative solutions to cater to the agricultural and landscaping industry. Eastern Wire’s HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) plastic netting product, introduced in 2011, is currently being used for crop protection and drainage control in many farms (particularly poultry) across the country. In 2012, the company further extended its commitment to providing landscaping solutions by introducing green wall and roof solutions under the PlanterCell brand. These products, which enable virtually anyone to create beautiful, landscaped structures that make their spaces stand out, are as eco-friendly as they are aesthetically pleasing.
