GREEN ARCHER ROCKFALL NETTING
Green Archer Rockfall Netting is serves as a protection barrier that prevents rocks and debris from rolling down the mountainside and onto roads, railways, pedestrians, etc.
Green Archer Rockfall Nets are easy to install. They are simply rolled out unto the mountain's surface and anchored onto the rockface. As with all other Green Archer erosion control products (Gabions, Mattresses, Sack Gabions, etc.), Green Archer Rockfall Netting is manufactured with heavily galvanized zinc-coated wire and can also be produced PVC-coated upon request.
ADVANTAGES OF ROCKFALL NETTING
ACTIVE PROTECTION against excessive movement of rocks on the surface of the mountain. The rockfall netting prevents loose rocks from sliding off the surface and therefore prevents undue collapse and detachment of rocks.
PASSIVE PROTECTION against rocks that have already detached themselves from the surface. The rockfall netting intercepts these falling rocks and stops or slows them down. This prevents rocks from falling on roadways, railways, etc.
